I attatched this script(modified objectives script in the Offical Guide) to a light in a level and tested it out, but the HUD didn't show up? Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Well where it says INSERT YOUR OBJECTIVE TEXT HERE you need to insert the path to the file.

??? Still confused. Do you mean make a text file that includes what it says, or make a graphic?

The path, as in C:/Program Files/The Game Creators/FPS Creator/etc. etc. etc.

@Haven Studios:

If it were looking for a file name, then you'd be correct, but it isn't. The command that's using that is "hudtext" and not "hudimage" or "hudimagefine".

@Crusader2:

Perhaps you don't have the Impact font on your PC? Try changing "hudfont=Impact" to something like "hudfont=Arial" and see if the HUD will show up then.

Also, just checking, but you DID press TAB to see the HUd, right?

I have Impact, I checked in Word. I'll try Arial and some other fonts.

...you've got a typo:

...correct that, assign the script to a triggerzone, and you should be all set...

Ah... That makes sense! Can't believe I didn't see that! Have one on be Seth
EDIT: Ok, it worked and It's small(I can fix that) but everything is blurry! Everything in the TAB menu is really blurry, blurry to the point where I can't read the FPS.
???

You mean the FPS at the bottom in the debug info?

Are you by any chance using X-Tasy? I know the bloom or motion blur from that effect the on screen text.

I'm using your mod Ply. And yes, I mean the FPS in the debug. Actually, I can't read any of the debug info .

Don't know what to say to that, lol. Have you checked your graphics cards settings? Maybe something in there is causing it.

The thing being, until I tried using ths script, I could see the debug info just fine . I've never changed any of my graphics card settings.

Hmmm, try using a image with text instead of the hudtext... something may be wrong with the way it works.

If that doesn't work, then I say, make a simple, no script level and see if you can read the debug text.
