Copyrights stiffle creativity by forcing everyone to start at the beginning rather than where someone else left off.
Progess is then stiffled because everyone wastes time re-inventing the wheel.
Should Mercedes be the only manufacturer of automobiles simple because they had the first car running on gasoline?
Should everyone else be forced to use other than 4 wheels since that was their design?
Were they the first to use four wheels for transportation?
NO! So, they too stole designs from someone else!
It gets rediculous to me when people get so anal over people sharing resources and especially ideas.
Sharing is a good thing and imagine if TGC didn't let us use the stock media for our modifications?
Want to make 2400+ frames of skeletal animations for your characters or just use the ones already there?
I wish more people were like them and made the resources available for modifications, rather than getting bent over a model.
Again, I am against pirating.
I just wish the copyrights and sharing in the world was a little more relaxed.

Only the people who can't afford to buy your stuff (and would not have bought it anyway) would use those sites.
So, really you are not losing a dime, because the honest paying customers are still paying.

No! It's not like I am selling some $3500 modeling software like 3ds max or anything.
They don't make a dime off giving this stuff to people who would never have bought it anyway.
7 billion people in the world people. 7 billion.
There are all kinds and you will never get them all to do what you want even if you threaten them with death.
So, get used to the idea of "to each his own" because some people are going to do what they want regardless of laws, etc.
Either become a cop and bust them, or get over it.
