I am getting this error message that a runtime error has occurred at line 31783) everytime i try to test a game. As an example, I built a 1 room level with nothing but the starting marker. I test the game and I get the message. i am not adding any additional models, other than the segments that come with X10. Does not matter what segment i use.

X9 works perfectly.

I can't find any mention of the ATI 4850HD actually working with X10, so that might be your problem. (Only did a quick search though so you might need to look deeper.)

I might have thought that too. The 4850 does support directx 10.1, and it has 512 MB RAM.

Also, when i first installed X10, it worked perfectly. I haven't added anything to the install; other than the updates so i may just re-install and see what happens.

jcleaver,

I would email support on that issue as you have a direct line of code that is crashing.

They should be able to help you. (Support link is here: http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=contact_support)

Thanks, I put in a ticket. I have a feeling it has something to do with not being able to find something because of Vista 64. I have tried running it as administrator; with UAC on and off. I think this because it is always the same line that it fails at.
