Okay i'm really not a pro on graphics cards and computer specs but if i bout a GeForce 8800 gt for my xp would x10 work on my xp? GeForce 8800 work on xp's and apparently my amd 64 processor 3800+ is better then a 3.0GHz Dual Core. So would it work?

Please don't flame me.

Vista Basic is the cheapest, but I'd still suggest Vista Home Premium. Course I don't have x10 but I still....

You must have Vista Home Premium is best for what you want to do also for a full list of specs you need go on X10 website and click the compatible cards link as of yesterday it now links to my thread which is much better than the old one by lee bamber so take a look at that you can also get to it via the link in my sig if its still there.

Jingle Fett, I think you're wrong about that.
I have xp, and Direct X 10 works just fine.

Well then obviously your're an idiot then. Microsoft have said that there may be directX 10 for XP on the web BUT they do not work properly and are about 50% bugs they will never work and all the people trying to do it have now given up on trying it was just a trial thing they did they never expected it to work. It has been shown that FPSC X10 using the Direct X10 for Xp causes huge errors in levels with segments not appearing and entities being above the ground.

Dont listen to him or any other idiot that says that its not true his name is "fps somewhat new user" for a reason

Im at the end of my rope for posts about this for the very last time IT DOES NOT WORK anyone with more that 2 brain cells can read the specs for X10 and read that its for VISTA ONLY.

Nothing personal Hockeykid or to anyone in general, it's just there have been an awful lot of topics talking about the same thing; people keep asking the same questions..
