After years of upgrading and purchasing I'm finding it more and more difficult to use the built in help system. For one, when I press F1 a help window pops up that cannot be put behind the IDE. Instead I have to minimize it with the mouse and often I find multiple windows minimized in front of my code.

I would prefer to have help open up in a separate window from the IDE. Anyway to do this? Should I uninstall everything I have and reinstall fresh?

What does everyone else do?

Personally, I just minimize it or close it. Then I open it by pressing F1 with the marker on the command I want to know more about. I really don't find any problem with this.

Ofcourse, you could also just open the file "Dark Basic Professional/Help/main.html" in your web browser, or something. That'd place it in a seperate window, at least. But personally I prefer it the way it is.
