How can I apply a shaders in FPS Creator X10?

I am believing it is the same process as FPS Creator.

Since X10 uses directx10, the whole rendering pipeline is one big shader, so basically you're getting the shader effects for free at no additional performance cost. But you don't apply the shader on a per-model basis. It's all done automatically.

So Bond, you're telling me I can't give a light some illumination effect and another object a bumpent effect?

Or do you mean shaders like bloom and such.

I believe everything has illumination maps, bump maps and specular maps, etc, etc already set out for them, and they use all of them...

soo if i made a segment for fpsc x10 and i put it in game i wouldnt need to normal map it to get it shaded and that? or wouldnt i still have to bump and normal map it ?

So what your saying is I can load an object I modelled into the game and all the effects will be readily applied. What if I only wanted one effect how would I specify that.

Not entirely correct, I believe they all have those maps but you need to specify which one for it to use in the .fpe/.fps etc.
