hello, I am a modeller for a team which programs under dB pro. I would like to know: how to export the particles effects which I made under 3DSMax so that dB pro can load them?
last question: Is there a plug-in for 3dsmax or something else?
thanks all

I don't think you can with 3ds max...got a pretty damn poor exporter...

I hate 3ds max's exporter, it sucksss

I'm not sure about this since I don't have DBPro, but I think db pro is particle capable(has a command for particles), if there is, just use the built in particle system...(in DB pro)

and what about plugins(plugin for exporting or plugin for a particle effect)

note: I've had a bad time with 3ds max trying to export (everything that isn't a still object--->>no anims or anything with moving vertices)

I don't know off any plugin that can export particles.. sorry(3ds max has a bad built in exporter and I don't think that a particle exporting plugin even exist for max->Don't trust me on that one<-
If you wanna try, download panda directx exporter(ask Raven Vegeta or someone where to find it or just search for "3ds max Plugins" or the like in a search engine-->>>you'll be surprised what plugins there are...)

(just use DBpro's particles system->if there is one...I don't have DBpro but I'm sure it has it's own set of particle effects built into it...)

This is the silliest question I heard all day. You cannot export particles. They are just points generated by Max that cannot be exported. You have to program/ use the DBPro engine for particles. And no, there isnt an exporter for Max or anything else.
