Hello
i have just recently seen you amazing work, and was wondering what programs you use to make some of your amazing models/npc's and textures.

Remember, it's more about the artist than the canvas. There's no magical tool that instantly makes your models awesome...

True. For all we know, EAI could be using MS3D and MS Paint. But we all know he uses 3DS MAX.

In my view any 3d modeler is a good bet, Max is so much more than a modeling package this is what makes it so expensive and takes a long time to learn to use all of the features. Take my advice, dont buy Max if all you want is a modeler, you would be wasting your money, the smaller modeling programs actually have all the features you need for this.

well rolfy what small modeling program would you suggest i'm looking for a program that would make texturing and animateing sort-of easy once the initial model is done.

It seems to be the concensus of opinion that Milkshape is the easiest to use.Blender has a lot of good features.
Thank you, A Happy New Year to all

Seriously, I don't care if I had Blender or 3DS, as long as I have Amb Occ. To me, that's all that distinguished the two, until I learned that Blender had it too....

I got 3ds too, pretty good package as I may say, certainly renders good, easy UI, big community of plugins, and certainly beats the crap outta maya...
