Well im trying to make a pong game...im pretty new, and this is what i have so far, I'm still having trouble with LoadImage ...and those commands.



I want to make it so when you hover over the buttons it changes the picture to another one, like its highlighted.
All help appreciated.

Thanks, it's exactly what I was using before, but i guess i never fully loaded the page. =D

Well....I loaded the files, but now my menu buttons arn't working at all. To me, the code looks like it should work in theory..am i doing something completely wrong? I know the tutorial shows you a way, but i dont really get their way. Heres my updated code:

You have to check for the mouse position/clicks on each loop, not only at the beginning of the program.

I hit another wall ...Im starting to make the main game now. Well here is my plan. Basically its pong, but the camera will be spinning around the game , gradually getting different patterns and such(levels). Right now i've made the camera, but i cant figure out how to raise it up above the table im playing on and make it look down (ex seats in the upper levels of a stadium)

You don't need to create a new camera, just use the default one ( camera 0).

Now you just have to increase the altitude/height of the camera (y component). I've also included the autocam off command, to prevent the camera from moving when you create new objects.

Thanks it works now, the problem was the autocam being on. I guess since i positioned the camera before i made the objects I never saw what I wanted to.
