I've never got it to work, and never heard of anyone else doing it either. You can associate the player with an object and get him to go up and down, but not forward or back. Look into the lift scripts to see how to associate the player.

Best.

You're probably tired of hearing this, but Ply's Mod has PlrMoveX, PlrMoveY, and PlrMoveZ commands that do what you want here...

"Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. Give a man a fishing rod, and he'll break it up into firewood...or swap it for a fish."

didn't know that anyway I tried it and it worked with only one problem, the player doesn't maintain altitude, when I go up a little an I move forward he falls back

TY and btw it's moveplry not plrmovey

Well, I found that the best way is use the NOGRAVITY command with it...

"Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. Give a man a fishing rod, and he'll break it up into firewood...or swap it for a fish."

Odd, that's what the manual says...

it is Nogravity and I've successfully used it on a crate but never tried a person.

The only other thing I can think of is move the player at a constnt upward force using MovePlrX, that it negates gravity. Like hovering...

Not if you get it right. If you set it to the right number, he'll move up as fast as gravity pulls him down, so they'll cancel each other out...

Well, the problem with this is the amount the player is moved increases so long as the player is in the air.

Remember, gravity is an acceleration, not a velocity. So the player's downward velocity constantly increases.
