whats the best way to make rooms, corridors & buildings(viewing from the outside)?
i have done this on db by creating boxes in the shape of walls, texturing them & peicing them together. i was just wondering whether it would be easier to make them as a model, or any other way.

If you try to make the rooms and corridors as external .x files, then you will most likely get into one or other of the problems people have been posting about loading external files. I'd do it the way you are currently doing it, because it is easier to change the levels around, and also collision detection is easier.

You could try .bsp maps, but people are having problems with these as well.
