I have several questions, but answering one of them will help alot

What is the script for trigger zone to change the light color in the room?

How to people do text on the screen or an image on the screen like beyond life?

It sounds kind of cheap to do this, but if you look at the script bank of other peoples game demos, you can find their scripts. BUT DONT STEAL THEIR WORK WITHOUT ASKING. Its good to learn scripting. Anyway, use search, there is a posts regarding this topic.

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

make a hud using a program such as photo shop. if you don't have photo shop then use paint.net. Then apply the following script to a characters main ai.




where it says EDITNAME thats the path to the hud. get it?

P.S. toy with the hudx= and hudy= to make the text higher and lower and what not.

Photo Shop is good but I really like GIMP. IMHO

Also, you can download FPI EditPad.

After you create the HUD image, then . . .

. . . click on the Create New Document icon and select FPI. From here click on "Insert" and first insert the FPI template. Now click on "Insert" again and click on the "Hud definition" option and follow the instructions. First thing is to find and select your HUD image.

Learn how to script. Tutorials at top of this forum. Learn more how to use FPI EditPad and this also will help you in your scripting.


EDIT:

BTW, creating a subject name that has to do with your questions will then include your thread in another person's search. APOLLO's search engine only searches the subject line and not the body of the message.
