Use a condition such as shotdamage and then have the retalliation script of facing player, moving into range of the player if they are a certain distance away etcetc. Just read through the FPSC manual, the scripts section. It's very easy to pick up, really and essentially you only have to read 3-6 pages to be able to write your own scripts.
