Hey,
I am just letting you guys know that I will offer free texture mapping starting on the 8th of January. it is free under one condition, i will texture map the model for free if i can use the model that I texture for commercial and non commercial projects.
I will send you a bmp with the white outlines of your 3d model.

I support the following formats: obj, 3ds, asc, lwo, x, dxf, cob, ms3d, nod, mdl, md2, md3, prm, smf, pof, oof, peo, geo, sod, l3d, 3do, act, bdy, skn, bmf, mdc, and ndo.
(note: I can also export to any of the above too.
Email me at [email protected] (please no files over 3mb, if it is send me a quick email asking me whether you can send it.
I will try to send the finished textures within the week and send a conformation email when i get the model.

You'll need to show some of you work, as it stand it sounds like you're just trying to get free models. Prove your texturing skills so people can judge for themselves.

According to this, he's just going to map, not texture it. Still, it would be nice to see how you map and lay out your own models.

If you map good I have some things that need mapped, what do you map, characters, or boxes.lol....j/k. lets see some maps.

I'm not sure what the service is you're offering in exchange for somebody's hard work on a model? You can do this in Wings 3D (free application), and in many cases you don't even need to do much adjustment of the automatic mapping. It does various projections to cover most scenarios.
