I want to make the mp40 fit into the Scifi genre. I checked the gunspec and found the TGA file to be gun_D2.tga. I cant seem to find this file. Please tell me where it is! Thanks in advance!

Dude, it is in the same folder as the gunspec file!

C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\guns\ww2\mp40

to edit the model ..
u can use any 3d modeling program that u can get your hands on..
i use and recommend milkshape3d-because its got alot of tools plugins etc...
and it is very user friendly unlike some other programs
witch are more advanced therefor you need some modeling knowledge before using them,,,

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

You can also use paint, but you have to convert it out of .dds format. I would reccommend Gimp or Photoshop if you can afford it.

Some people say that I'm crazy... And I agree.

When I try to open it using gimp I get this "Opening 'C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\guns\Project X\mp40\gun_D2.dds' failed: Unknown file type", paint doesn't work either. Is there a step or something I have to do first?

Big Thanks- Monkeyshine

No, it's because you haven't downloaded the plug-in for GIMP to read DDS files. Try Paint.NET, that reads a hell of a lot of files including DDS.
