hello, I'm new to the forum and have seen that several have already asked for weapons or created FPSC and I also want to create a weapon, know but if I can help in the steps to create a weapon:

1.The program do you recommend to create the 3D?
2.For make animation?
3.What are the DDS files. and transform the 3D. X? (several have already asked but I can not find the program)
4.As a position on the weapon and all that Gunspec?

all that good for now, which has experience creating weapons, please help me

1. If you want a good cheap porgram i would say to get AC3D A few of us here use it and it is good.

but if you want a free one i would say to get milkshape.

2. a good program to make animations is MilkShape.

3. A .DDS file is a Format for a Picture Eg. same as .JPG .BMP .PNG and so on)

4 sorry i dont know (never made a gun)

milkshape3d isn't free.

the double combo of fragmotion and milkshape3d will fulfill most of your modelling needs(they only really lack a renderer like blender/3ds max does).

the best position for a gun is the very center of the grid(0,0,0) then experiment to find the best viewpoint for you.

I know not with what weapons WWIII will be fought but WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones-Albert Einstein

a good texture making program i would recommend to get Photoshop.

but if you want a free one i would say to get The Gimp.

and look up tutorials on Google
