I've started to mess about with 3DS Max again and am looking at things to model. But the problem I have is this:

1. I think - hey, it'd be a great idea to mess about with modelling say a car for example
2. I nip off to Google Images and start looking for pictures to base my model on but can't find pictures with top view, side view and front view for example, which makes it difficult for me to work on something

I could always find something and photograph it myself but there are several problems with this. For starters in my area if I go flashing my camera about I'm likely to get mugged. Secondly, if I start taking pictures of things the dodgy people around my area will think I'm up to something and give me a slap lol. And lastly, even if I do manage to take some pics I won't be able to get the top view of anything.

Is there anywhere you know of online that has pictures of things from side, front and top view that're available and free to use..?

what do you mean you wont get the top view of anything? Most objects are smaller than a person so you can just stand over it and take pictures likes that and get your top view. unless you want to take a picture of a car or something

Most objects are smaller than a person, but I was thinking of vehicles or large/tall objects such as skips, streetlights etc mostly.
