Hey guys. I just purchased Carrera, and Hexagon from Daz studios. I got a great deal on these programs on CD. They work great, tons of manipulation tools, animation, and most important Carrera exports to .x format.

My problem is that after building a model where I have implemented Booleen operations, I keep getting these odd, added faces that were not in the original model when exported. They appear where the Booleen operations were used on the model.

Has anyone used either of these apps, and, or had similar problems with other modeling apps? If there is a way to remedy this, I'd sure be grateful for a little info.

Something similliar happened to me, but with Ac3d. I used the boolean tool, and everything looked really great in Ac3d, but then I exported in .obj to open in Milkshape for animating. And the model got really weird.

Did you find a fix, or just quit using the booleen tool?

Is there a Carrera forum over at the Daz site? It might be better if you ask there. I imagine they'll know more about it.

Good point, I'm not sure, but I'll check. Thanks Andy.
