Hello, I would like to know how I can create a city similar as these images show it.

I already have a sufficient number of textures (over 2000), but I don't manage to recreate the same atmosphere.

Can you give me some advices ?
Thank you in advance.

Also, something of that scale is most likely not possible under the current version of FPSC, as the outdoors has always been a problem for users. A large, realistic city is tough to get running smoothly.

If you could upload a few sample shots of what you have got so far, it would be easier to give you pointers in the right direction.
Only tip that I can think of 'on the fly' right now is to look at how other games fake a sense of depth. Half-Life 2 "cheats" a lot with the environments in the sense that mosts buildings you see usually only consist of the sides that you see.

Yes, this can be done. With the proper lighting, as hockeykid pointed out, and the use of low-poly buildings, and a good skybox.

True, you are limited by the size of the FPSC map, which is way too small. But, you can still easily build good looking city scenes.

These may help you. you can find them on my site or here on the forums. Or you can e-mail me and I can help you out more.

I think this is looking good, as already mentioned the lighting needs work, but none the less it's a great start. I would buy Darkmatter 1, as it has loads of cars (or make your own), add some rubbish and some sound effects and you will be well on your way!

Ok, first off, get rid of the lights by the windows, the windows are black so I find the lights to be unecessary. I'd also suggest for lighting color you use a beige instead of a pure white. Also, lower the ambiance a bit, and lower the "blue ambiance" from 255 or whatever to 15 or something lower.
