Hi i have seen two new condtitions in the FPSC update namely the
Quote: "Added two new FPI conditions (LEVELEQUAL=X and LEVELNOTEQUAL=X) where X is level"

What is this "level" thing is it the RPG kind or the ingame levels?

Sorry for the noobish-kinda-like question but i really dont know what these two conditions do.

Apparently what the conditions do is determine if you are currently in or not in a particular level, but I would also like to know what values are allowed for X, and if multiple values are supported.

Best.

I would assume that it would be from 0 to 99 like the variables.
Double digits would suffice because the level limit is 50.
However, he may have limited it to 0 to 49 for that reason.
I would think that the levels you add in the build game will increment automatically.
These conditions only read the levels value, they don't change it.

Quote: "There have been many calls for weapons to auto-equip when you start a new level or load a saved game, and this has now been implemented along with two new FPI conditions which allow you to check what level you are on. For example if you wanted to change the skybox for level three because it is a cave or underground level, you can now add a line to setuplevel.fpi to read:

:state=0,levelequal=3:sky=skybank\ww2\Gas

and a second line to read:

:state=0,levelnotequal=3:sky=skybank\ww2\Hil"

Thanks Gamer X,

I was thinking this was for the FPI and not just the setup.

It will still be a very handy condition, because its not just limited to skybanks.

Gamer X, thanks for posting that. Because we sometimes give our levels names, and not numbers, I wondered if the engine used the names we gave them. That clears it up, and yes, this will have much more value than just changing skybanks.

Best.
