Hi guys, how do you change the frame rate in an animated 16 image decal. I've tried all sorts of different rates within my software (ULead) but the decal always is going 100 miles an hour in FPSC.

Thanx

As far as I know, there isn't a way to control speed within FPSC. The best way to go would probably be to double the frames in an animation program.

The best way I've found is, to use animations that consist of only 2-4 frames.

example: When you create your .dds file, start with your first frame of animation, pasting the same frame 4 times in the first row, the next frame:4 times in the second, etc.

This will cut the speed down to 25% as its viewed. This limits your animation to only a few frames, but it's better than seeing it run at warp speed.

Hope this helps.

in the decal spec you can specify the number of frames (as long as it's a multiple of 4), but unfortunately it appears to be bugged, so you cant do more than 16 frames. Ideally if you could do 32 or 64 frames you ould do much smoother decal animtions
