Is it possible to make the player object sidestep using dark ai?
phy move character controller player ,-40.0 `is moving backward
phy move character controller player ,-40.0 `is moving forward
how to make object sidestep?
wouldnt it be something like:
phy move character controller player ,0,0,-40.`?

if you mean you want an object to move relative to its position facing forward you can use a function like this:

I think he is using DBPro, not DGDK...

C'mon Gatorules, I think the beginners in the DBPro Newcomer's Corner are having a hard enough time getting DBPro to work without you throwing your C++ code at them. Look, a prime example of what I'm talking about, SAAB Driver.

SAAB Driver, the code Gatorules posted was a function definition. Translated into DBPro, it's this:



And if you want to call the function like that, you'd do:

Thanx but you se im using dark physic so the code has to be something like:


otherwise it wont work propally, the player object will return to it old position (it hade before the leftkey was pressed) when i relese my fnger from the leftkey. Thats the problem
