so my static HUD utilizes two different font faces.
i have a 'attack menu' of sorts with ONE font, and a static 'health meter' with ANOTHER font, and refreshing both of these things in each frame seems to cause nightmare-ish lag. :{

is there a trick to avoid this lag, or do i need to just embrace a one-font-fits-all HUD?

thanks in advance if anyone can help me here. :}

Only advice I can give here is in recommending Cloggy's D3D library.

only other way is to make the words you use an image and paste them per loop.
