3D Alive is proud to announce its release of its new tutorial project. This project will guide new users on how to make basic models in milkshape, texture them in photoshop and then export them into Direct.X format.

Tutorial one: This tutorial explains the basics of milkshape and its layout. Focusing on getting you used to using the application rather than getting you to do anything particuly challenging.

Tutorial Two: This tutorial gets you to use photoshop to create a texture for the object you created in the previous tutorial. Focusing on using filters to speed up your texture making, this tutorial is ideal for anyone interested in using photoshop.

Tutorial Three: This tutorial explains how to export using the Direct.x format from Milkshape. It is aimed at helping people export models for use in FPSC.

The aim of the tutorials is to allow new users to FPSC to create their own content rather than rely on the genoristy of others. The tutorials will be aimed specifically at working with FPSC and will include little time savers that even advanced users may not know about.

E.g.

I hope these are a help and that new users take the time to learn and develop their skills when using FPSC.

All the best,
Alex

Note: Any problems or questions with the tutorial please email me directly.

Hey Doc,

I've been using MilkShape for a while, and I learned something from the first tut. Thanks for taking the time. Now, on to the next one.

Brian.
