Was the interface that the newsletter mentioned an IDE? Was it Codesurge? I can't figure out what it is that Rick is talking about (see the U71 update story) "interface for DBP."

Its a modified version of Synergy Editor.
Not available to the public who hasn't bought DarkGAME Studio.
But I imagine its basically same as the Synergy Editor, just with a few extra touches.

Its identical to Synergy, except:

Added DBPro "module" button - identifies and advertises commercial enhancement packs, dark physics, ez rotate etc.. (which replaces the "Plugin Manager" in Synergy).

Added Game Creator Store button - opens game creator store (because finding it in the start menu is just too hard?).

Help > About DBPro Editor - now calls its self "Dark Basic Pro Editor"

The DBPro vr has the old Brown pyramid icon, Synergy has plan blue/yellow icon.

You do not miss out by using Synergy over the DBPro vr - infact, Synergy is currently 4th Jan 2009, DBPro is 2nd Oct 2008!

Over and out.
