Do the buildings in model pack 20 have interiors? Can the play enter the buildings and move around inside the buildings? Or are the buildings in model pack 20 just exteriors with no working doors or windows?

Incense, the only way you can have a full building to go through a door and have texture on the inside is to have pre-fabs made. Even though the buildings do not have doors that open so that you can go into them should not preclude one from getting this pack. It is a great pack. The buildings are fabulous. The textures have a lot of detail. All you need to do is find some medieval room segments and create a room that you want to have some interaction in. When the player goes up to a particular building's door you can have them do something such as press enter and then move the player into the room you created. Once finished in that room move the player back outside of the building. I know this takes some scripting but it can easily be done.

Not only are the buildings super but the characters are very good and work well. And, not only that there are other entities that make up the pack that really adds to the medieval genre. This is a pack worth getting if you have the medieval genre in mind for a game.

Steve has been working very hard at making quality models and is continually getting better everyday.

Oh, yes, I do own the pack.

Building wise, i have most of these models with interiors but with fpsc entering a building can be problematic due to the collision it currently has, therefore thats why you dont really see meshes with interiors. It could be a good idea to make interiors as segments, and then when the player goes near the door, a trigger transports the player away to another location where the interior is. A lot of commercial games do this also

@F l a t l a n d e r,

Could you post some detailed screenshots of the characters included with the pack?

Thanks,

I would greatly appreciate this also. Even pics of some of the buildings would be handy as the current page of the TGC website for this model pack is sorely lacking in any detail

I sure will. Be patient though as I am currently kind of busy. I have a deadline of Friday at the end of the day. If I feel comfortable with how things are going I should be able to start at least something today yet.

I quickly put some buildings together. The floor segment of the town, the buildings and the archway are all in the pack. I wasn't exactly sure how I should have done it. Also, these are not all the buildings available and I don't have the characters in these images either. The wall and vine on the wall, the trees and the grass are not a part of the pack.

Kum Zlatko, I'm glad you were able to see these screenies.

BTW, The screenies I posted were low resolution. I had just downloaded beta 2 of v115 and forgot to change my resolution. I will retake the shots and repost. Sorry about that. I hope that this wasn't detrimental to the model pack.
