hey guys,
good evening
alot of you might know when workign on a game you need the key number for most keys on the keyboard to se them in the game. this is also called the scan code. for example if you wanted to use "w" the scan code for that is 17. i mad a handy little appicatio you just press the key and it will tell you its scan code. i have uploaded it downlaod and enjoy. i hope its helpful. mods i know i also posted this is dbpro area but i reposted here so i can help the newcomers so please dont lock.

i know of that jut though people would prefer the application

I always just add



at the top of my project when I want to look up a keystate

copy the image to the gfx file in help principle folder, then add this line to just above <!-- Page Footer --> in the 9 ASCII character codes.htm file.



I saved the image as scancodes.bmp, if you used some other name replace it with that name.

same i got it printed out... lol its on my desk and i always use it

lol, I did something similar a few days ago. I went and edited the help file for the scancode() function. Just stuck the image near the top.
