Hi i'm new to modeling, and i would like some help. I Downloaded Milkshape, and im looking for some good tutorials on how to make weapons...Maybe a like follow along tutorial?...any help would be greatly apprciated

thanks... i may not have photoshop but GIMP is where its at.

Are there any other good tutorials or good 3-d Editing software??

It took me two years to learn to make proper looking weapons
If you learn to make simple models first, the technique to make weapons comes with it

Start of with an lamp or somthing like that, then as you get better bring it to life abit more.

sometimes its more important to invest more time in your texture than your model as a good texture can make or break a model.

Right...so the first thing i did was find a good tutorial...and lo and behold...i can make stairs now!..lol...just need to texture it and i will put it up for you all to see

i'm using the free trial version...its really easy to use...

how would i export/get the model ready for use in FPSC?

Yeah, AC3D is really powerful and easy. To export your model in x format , go to file , export and select Direct X. (Don't know if you can do that with trial version)

See the attached image to see the export parameters I use

Then you have to do the FPSC stuff and that is different if you are exporting an entity or a segment
