Hi ive noticed something odd in the manual and the ocfpsc guide (well the versions i have anyway) that there is a moveup commandfor entities which does work, with nogravity command or appearnograv.fpi as the init but there doesnt seem to be a move down command? so how would i get an object to move up and then get it to return to its plane of origin or better still be able to move it down at command?

or am i just being dense?

tried searching this one and got something on plrmoveup command after some time but still nowt on moving an entity down, as far as i can find no one else has mentioned this, am i being daft?

[b]breaking news!!!

Check this for weird!
i thought 'well since the rotate command will take a negative value why not moveup?' so i gave it one, see code snippet

move up action is flawless but i urge you to stick this in an entities AIMAIN and see what happens cos for me it was mad! press k to go up and press L to come down, in theory the down action should work (in my theory anyway) but what happens is if you tap it (L) it comes down in bursts, if you hold it down for anything longer and it goes shooooooooooooooting skywards!!!!!

any ideas?!

you would need completley 3d co-ordinates
move x
move y
move z
then using posative/negative numbers you could "fly" in any direction

i got it sorted now, im using it for my side scrolling shooter game!

to movedown just give move up a negative value, eg moveup=-20 to movedown 20 units

my script moves forward, turns left, turns right, moves up and down, any use for ur superhero game?
