Hey! I'm working on a building and i made it in 3DWS and it looked like this:
I exported it as a .dbo to the location of my code and it has all of the light maps and textures with it. But when i load it up using this code:
#include "DarkGDK.h"
void DarkGDK ( void )
{
dbSyncOn ( );
dbSyncRate ( 60 );
dbLoadObject ( "TestTest.dbo", 3 );
float fCameraAngleX = 0;
float fCameraAngleY = 0;
dbSetCameraRange ( 1500, 0 );
while ( LoopGDK ( ) )
{
dbHideMouse ( );
dbControlCameraUsingArrowKeys ( 0, 100, 100 );
dbPositionMouse ( dbScreenWidth ()/2, dbScreenHeight ()/2 );
fCameraAngleX = dbWrapValue ( fCameraAngleX + dbMouseMoveY ( ) * 0.4 );
fCameraAngleY = dbWrapValue ( fCameraAngleY + dbMouseMoveX ( ) * 0.4 );
dbXRotateCamera ( fCameraAngleX );
dbYRotateCamera ( fCameraAngleY );
dbSync ( );
}
return;
}
the building looks like this:
I decided to make a brand new map just to test so i put 2 boxes and gave each a texture and exported both as a .dbo and .x and they are still transparent. Could this be a result of my graphics card or some other hardware/software problem?
I also discovered that all of the models i make no matter what i use (including coding boxes and such with Dark GDK) are transparent like that.
