Hi guys,

Since some time, I try to make it possible, when you shoot at a picture at the wall, that it fall down. Like F.E.A.R...

But, because of some reasons, it doesnt work. So I would like to ask, if it is possible to do this and how you would do it. Give me only some ideas...

thanks in advance

Please post a sample script so we can critique for you. If you want to keep the script a secret, then it's ok, but I won't be able to help you then. Maybe someone else will be able to.

Best,

Some people say that I'm crazy... And I agree.

Off the top of my head I'm thinking it might not be possible for a couple of reasons. However, this is just off the top of my head without thinking much about it.

If you already have some script you had started (like Crusader2 had said) then we might be able to go from there.

ill start you off with an idea

:shotdamage=1:activateifused=1,destroy

So when the picture gets shot have to spawn the same one right on top of it then have physics on for the one that gets spawned and it will fall to the floor.

I was just thinking it was going to have to be some sort of work-a-round. I believe you're on the right track hockeykid.

couldn't you do something like

:shotdamage=1:moveup=-5

shouldn't this, in theory, move the picture down? you'd have to play with the value after moveup, and you'd want to put this into a state that makes it so the picture doesn't move once it's on the floor. Like...

:state=0,shotdamage=1:moveup=-5,state=1

Its another possibility, but i think it looks better, if it seems, that the picture really fall down..because of the physics...

Nevertheless, thanks to you
