hey guys im doing a project for college and we've to make a 3 level game. im having some problems with scripts that im trying to use in the game

1) is it ok to create scripts in notepad them save them as .fpi files?

2) where are these fpi files then stored? for example i used the script for a hud to display when tab is pressed its the script thats within the community guide. but i dont know where the .tga image and script itself is to be saved. are they put within the final build of your game or what? i just need to know where these are to be stored then i should be fine with scripts in the future. thanks

1. That is fine. I recommend using the Fpi Editor though, its easier with everything highlighted.

2. Gamecore> huds.
