I thought I would make a thread so that people could post there 2d art here whether its 2d, computer generated, hand drawn anything at all. And have some constructive critisism, ratings or talk about someone's art.

Ill start it off with my pixel art, i will be making more but here it is.

Rate, critisize or talk.
Anything will be appreciated.

Impressive! I've been working on my pixel art skills recently, I'll be sure to post something once I have something worthy of posting...which could take awhile.

Here's something I finished tonight. Took me about 3 hours, and was inspired by the work of Mary Blair.

It is titled "Push On"

Photoshop CS3. I don't know my way around it yet that well, as I only began using it when I started working at Infinite Interactive. I used to be a GIMP boy

Thanks for the props guys. I am slowly increasing my portfolio, and enjoying it.

This one I showed a few months back, but I'll post it in here. It's a bit big to click the linky to view the monster.

Cool. Here is a picture I made a while ago. It was meant to be used in a steampunky adventure game but it never got finished.

Ooh, creepy . I have to say it doesn't look very steampunky though. It's more of the horror/sci-fi genre. Nice drawing though .

Thanks. Yupp it's scanned. It was supposed to be an retired assassin who have had his right side of his body blown off. That answers all the metallic and robotic parts of his body.

Good stuff. My suggests is that you buy a Wacom Tablet. Get one of the Graphires, they don't cost much, and you are set. I have only started using one seriously for a year, and I cannot stress how useful they are.

Your artwork will look so pretty

Really nice drawings ZekeGames! I especially like the last one!

I made a self portrait the other day. It went out pretty good, except that the left arm is bigger than the right..

Thanks for the props guys.

@ Virtual Nomad - All the artwork is mine. I am doing the art side of things with that project. There will be more posted there this week hopefully. I have another subject I need to draw stuff for too, so I will post that.

I did another pic today. Not quite as cohesive as some of the others, but I am happy enough for a two hour job.

Regards,
Greenlig

Thanks zilch. I'm using Photoshop CS3 for all these things. I have only been doing 2D artwork like this for 9 months so far, and am really enjoying it. Like you, I love scenic art, considerably more than character art. I like exploring the space characters inhabit, with the space being a character in itself.

I need to draw a few more images this week, so I will post them when done.

Regards,
Greenlig

After seeing some of the art you guys put up here, I am almost embarrased to put mine up

I am not really an artist but I can do isometric buildings to an extent in paint.

If you want to learn how to draw this, follow this link to my youtube video showing you how!

Another quick concept for uni. I am not as happy with this one as the others...it has some cool parts, but not altogether good. I got bored of the coral pretty quickly lol.
