I have a retexture of a character that is in the png format. Problem is that entity workshop 2 doesnt support png. so i converted it to BMP. Apparently BMP cant have transparent ?color?. Even when i converted it in GIMP the transparent part turned gray. Anyway to work around this?

Convert to either TGA or DDS

paint.net could export it to tga or dds

ergh i tried both... but entity workshop 2 keeps making the tga and dds files weird colors(not transparent).. i think its a problem with entity workshop 2

You are saving your dds files incorrectly. (Wrong codec)

im saving it with paint.net and then i converted the png to dds with dds converter. no luck

Save it to .dds in paint.net
