I am new here and i got most of the model packs before i even started to build games. i had the program for a while and now that i got interested i need a script ( i can't write my own ) that will make txt apear in screen. like "Oh god, great day to get called in" i really dnt know how to make that can someone help me

"This time you walk." ever thought why companies that make fps are always so good? it's because they have about 100 to 10000 people working on a single game. ever got that many?

ignore apple hes right but rude, true you should learn to script yourself to begin to enjoy the full power of fpsc but i can sympathise as i too was stumped when it came to getting it do and ended up looking to the forums for help, but trust me if you search the boards you will find what you are looking for, try searching 'huds' or 'displaying huds' in the search context if that doesnt work let me know and il point you in the write direction

not all of us on here are as rude, but we wont 'write your script for you'

but trust me , search huds, read em up in the manual, the best way i found was to open an fpi that had a message in it such as the door locked fpi as it displays a message to tell you you need a key right?

keep the manual beside you or the ocfpsc guide, isolate the line that calls the text and modify it to suit your needs

- Why is everyone on here so rude? -

I don't think that was intended to be rude. To me it seemed like he was just asking if it was a problem or he hasn't learned yet.

Well, I can see how you came up with that conclusion X10 User, However, I did not mean for it to come across that way.

To help with scripting, you should get FPI Editpad a handy scripting tool.

You're lucky; I had one on hand.

Change the hudtext=Objective line to whatever you want.

Some people say that I'm crazy... And I agree.
