i would very much like to know. The country time pack made by cosmic prophet has hills which i consider 3d. well heres my idea.. a ground with grass coming out of it. i want the grass to be walk-thru-able so it can work as cover. might this be possible?

and yes i have an entity like that except it wont work in multiplayer because it needs to be dynamic to be walk-thru-able which multiplayer cant do.

thanks for the help

i don't know if this will work but use a series of 2d faces and model grass onto them. import them and in the appear script put appear no collision. this should give it no collision.

if you create a new form of segment that combines entities and sgments the entities would need to be dynamic and have no collision mabey try asking WoZ as hes combined entities and sgments toghether

What you need is a grass shader or using decals.FPSC will come to a grinding halt well pretty much any engine would if you try and model grass just the sheer amount of polys would be insane.

Getting a working grass shader is half the problem you would need some sort of a height map as well.

Decals is the quickest cheapest and still believable in future we might see some decal shader support it would look great with a relief shader.
