You need to be more precise than that; what is a "map"?
Heightmap, lightmap, an entire level...?

well you just load in your model, position it, light it, and then in your loop check for collisions add gravity and move your camera...

simple NO!

it would take while to get everything working right...

LOAD OBJECT filename, object number.

Each object gets its own number so you can tell them apart.
