OK guys dont get mad. I think i am missing the point with all this weapon stuff. I use 3d Studio Max and I have the x. file export function. But how the hell do i get all this to work. I have read the posts on here.

I want to start a basic pistol. Make the ammo. Get it into the game. I downloaded the FPSC entity maker from the FPS Creator website. When i export from studio max i get the X file. What do i do from here???? i know i maybe a little slow ( ) but someone please help!

Thanks all.

Isn't there tutorials that come with the FPSC entity maker? I got those and they helped a lot. But, are you saying you're having problems making the weapons, editing them, or exporting?

Wait, I think I know. Put the weapon you want to edit first at the top of the list of entities that came with the entity editor. Watch the tutorials for more help. Tutorial 1 is the best for helping you to get started (that's why it's first). That's the best help I can give.

Nothing is too hard as long as you can achieve it (*Note* This does not apply to programmers).

I would by fpsc toolbox from http://www.fpsc.seqoiagames.com/FPSC-Toolbox.htm that will allow you to create a proper gun entity, and a gunspec file easily. If u dont want to spend 25 usd, you'll have to create a gunspec file the hard way. to do that will take you about an hour just to figure out weapon placement. Make sure you've made an animated and a non animated weapon cuz if it's not animated it'll look like a 2d image. Hope this helped
