All the decals ive seen are 2d, and wherever the player is facing the decal changes direction. Does anyone know how to make 3d ones?

Just a nub trying to figure it out ^_^

why don't you just make a 3d model? Why would you need a 3d decal?

Well, decals cannot be 3d per se, but you may create a more realistic and widely-used method.

Place a decal and change it's main .fpi to decalfixed.fpi. Click then press r then click then press r then click then press r and then click. What that does is fan your decal and create a very nice effect.

kinda like what they do in some n64 games. Thanks. And i was just wondering if you can do it. I have a friend who uses torque, and he makes pretty good decals.
