You have to display the entire code.
Also, you should be aware that the set sound command operates differently on different machines; it is (almost?) always inaudible well before reaching 0, but on certain machines this will happen around 30, whilst others fail to produce the sound even around a setting of 70.

You usually strip out the relevant part, which probably consists of only a few lines.

Mhm, as I said - are you sure that 30 is in the audible range on your computer?
Try setting it to 80 or something, just to test.

but, umm, the problem isnt that
The problem is that when i put that option of set sound volume while in the game, then, when i restart it, it wont stay as the volume i putted the last time, it will sound as 100, not as 30.

For some reason, the music stays as i putted the last time, but the sound doesnt, why?

does the value you use to set the sound level get reset when you restart the loop.

might as well post the whole thing, and put in big letters in the comments `THIS IS THE VOLUME CONTROL FUNCTION AREA

Also note that your volume knob itself, if you double-click it, has multiple settings. Perhaps you are saving the midi area but not the wave file, or vice versa.

check your Image Saving thread for the solution.

if none of the help you've received works for you, try moving your microphone close, clear your throat, and demand, firmly, "REMEMBER ME, IM YITZU!".
the program will then load/save the settings for you automatically.

The reason why the sound volume keeps on changing back when you start the program is because it won't automatically save settings. You will have to code that yourself, by writing the volumes to a file and loading them whenever the program is run.
