Every time I use a AT shader on my terrain it loses its texture?

It is completly black no texture at all. I recently tried greens

shader with his textures and I still get the same look. Does

anybody know why and how to get a shader like this to work?

Thanks in advance

Maybe you forgot the normals calculation part of GG's sample code?

I think that the way the shaders work is that you texture the object in multiple stages with different images, and then the shader textures the object depending on certain criteria such as height or gradient.

If you don't texture the object with enough images, or get the index stages wrong, then the object will appear black.

If you posted some code then I could take a look at it and help.

If you do a browse in the forums for AT shaders, you should get some results with people with similar problems as this.

Im sorry, I had a look at it, and havent got too much of a clue.

I only started with shaders recently, but the best person to ask would be Green Gandalf.

Sorry...
