i still have a problem with my flashlight, but as is, nobody EVER replies to posts from people who really need an answer, for some reason. i dont have the answer, im just informing you that you probably wont get one considering there are a lot of pretty unhelpful people here that know the answers, but decide to be jerks and not reply because its uninteresting or simply because they dont feel like it

At night i lay awake on my bed, gazing up at the stars, and wonderi-hey, where'd the roof go?

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, Model Pack. People help when and where they can. Each of the "unhelpful people" around this board have their own experiences to base their "unhelpful" posts on. Not everyone is going to have an answer for you, and sometimes we flat out guess. Everyone here ALSO has their own attitude towards the way people post their questions. Allow me to give you an example:

Quote: "just find me a working FLASHLIGHT"

Doesn't make me feel like he really appreciated the effort that someone put into MAKING that flashlight and is only here to complain about it.

If you're going to ask for help, you need to remember that you're not talking to a bunch of robots, programmed solely to help you when you need help.

When I first came across this thread, I honestly didn't know what he was talking about. I have never seen this Flashlight script, and I'm literally sick of telling people to POST THE SCRIPT THAT THEY NEED HELP WITH or at the very minimum give us a link to where they FOUND the script. So, I ignored it and assumed someone who KNEW about the script would give him a hand. That's just how it goes.

Now, the reason I'm making a post here now is because you seem like YOU need help, Model packs. It sounds to me like you're having problems getting attention around here. Here's the help I can offer you in your current state:
- Don't insult the people you want to get help from
- Don't complain about how "unhelpful" people are. That just makes them want to be less helpful towards you.
- Don't assume people are being jerks, especially when they haven't said anything.
- If no body's around to answer your post, then no body's around.. you really can't do anything about it and it DEFINITELY doesn't mean that your post is uninteresting or that they're being too lazy to help.

There! That's your helpful post for this evening. I hope you enjoyed it.

The one and only,

Thanks ply. Well put. that model packs guy can be a jerk.
He should learn to script. I mean, if he cant appreciate the effort that went into that LOOOOONG script, i dont know what to say.
