Hello, i need your help as i know anytingh about scripting,plese help me

Well, what i am searching for a script for a light so it flashes like fire, i dont know if you understand me well

I mena, so the light makes an effect like fire light

Like stalker, that the fire light flashes and makes a nice lighting effect

Just me and a friend tring to do a game deploment team i am the one who creates the levels and he creates the history

yeah. Make the light Dynamic and apply light2.fpi I think. You can script it to make it light a fire.

There are a few tutorials around. They are very useful, and after you learn scripting, a whole new world of opportunities will open up.

I think the simplest way is as Apple Slicer says!

No scripting is needed, but you need to start learning scripts if you are asking for help with scripts as the forum will not do the work for you!!

So to get the fire effect you can set up the fire, and add the light marker, select your colour, I've used yellow in my example, and change it to dynamic, and change the main script to light2.fpi, this will give you a flickering effect, so you need to find the right position for the light in front of the fire to cast the right shadows, see the video attached, just a quick one but hopefully will show you the effect it can give.

Any joy Black Profductions, its good to show solutions too, hopefully you have a good looking fire now but you should let us know so the thread can be closed off or more help can be given if need be!
