Hay.

I am making a 3D maze game and trying to get a countdown timer into it. I have the code to make the timer work on its own but i cant get it to apper whithin the game?

im using this countdown timer code:

using wait like that will freeze your game for 500 seconds, as you already know

try this:

+ Code Snippet

centerX = screen width()/2
centerY = screen height()/2

rem initialize countdown
countstart = 500 `seconds
starttime = timer()
count = countstart-((timer() - starttime)/1000)

do

cls

if count > 0
   count = countstart-((timer() - starttime)/1000)

else
   center text centerX, centerY, "Time's Up!"
endif

loop
