Hi
I am having problems.
I want to move an overlay to the left and when it reaches the wall i want it to stop or at least turn 90 degress to continue on the other wall.
I have tried coding it so that the overlay is forced to the left every time the timer runs around 30 miliseconds.

However when i load up my game i cant see it move.
I have my code that i am working on down below here.
Help would be gladly appreciated.

I don't believe movement commands work with non-character entities.

@the fps gamer you need to add "triggerforce=x" in order to use the force commands.

DEFINE: triggerforce=x - applies a force to an entity by a magnitude of X

This command sets the force and the forceleft=, forceright=, forcefor=, forceback=, and forcebounce= use the set force to act upon any entity.

@ply These are the only movement commands that work on non-character entities.

Hi
Just tried to add the triggerforce=3 in the front of forceleft=3 nothing happens.

posted is the edited code.

My idea is to make some floating screens in a room so they will float rectangulair with the room so it looks like they are projected but are moving in a kinda futuristic way.
Also i have been playing a demo on my computer before i made a total reset, that moved elevator platforms so i know it is possible in some way to move non-character entities.

Right, I was aware that elevator platforms use the moveup command, or will travel between waypoints.

Perhaps you could try being brutal with it? Maybe 3 isn't a high enough value. Try 50 and see if it goes anywhere.
