I opened up my mouse and discovered LOTS of free space, so I put in a small motor with a chunk of lead on the axle, and connected it in series with a semi-fixed resistor, the left mouse button, and a switch. I opened a hole in the right side of the mouse glued the switch to it. after I closed it again, and plugged it to my PC and got... The first force-feedback mouse! This thing is great on shooting games (especialy with a machine gun or a SMG) so I thought I'd tell you how to make one. Its almost as if I had the gun in my hands!!!

If you've made a mod that improves gaming realism, post here!

There are mice with vibrations that you can buy, don't know how well they work in games though.

My friend has had a force feedback mouse for ages. It does weird things like pulse every time you open the start menu and open menus from within that. And I suppose its also good for a game.

And here I thought I'd come up with an origional idea!

@mouse
he (the mouse) is doing okay now. The operation was a success. After a few days of rest, he was running around on my mouse-pad and clicking like never before.

Ive got a force feedback girlfriend. annoy her to much and she lashes out with a gusto.

Im using a crappy a4 tech minus a wheel since it presents the lowest buttoned mouse i would want to have my games etc. work for.

only FFB mouse i've seen is Logitechs - and to be honest it was a completey useless as a mouse & used DirectX's FFB which to be honest the presets suck more balls than Graham Norton

might be a cool thing for something like an MS IntelliMouse, as they're quite comfortable already
