Animations: not ready
Polys: 480
Texture: 2048 x 2048 !!Not Ready!!



Texture is not ready, it does not look good, but i will make it better, if you want.

Good weapon for tactical missions. Uses battery to fire rockets and includes infrared scope. Range is 12 - 20 metres.

Only 480 polys? FPS can handle about 2000 polys for a gun, you might consider smoothing it out and making little graphical touches.

I don't think it's that your texture isn't ready. It looks like your UV mapping isn't ready. If your UVs are stretching the image applied to the object, it doesn't matter if you use 128x128 or 4096x4096 it's still going to look stretched.

I want robotic legs.

No.. or yes.. I re-uv mapped it, and made new texture, the texture was not ready. And there it does matter if you are using 128x128 texture or 2048x2048 texture, bigger texture can be more detailed.
And i made projectile.

New texture and new uv-map:



Now it's ready to be animated.

I'm now animating this, and i assinged MP6 hands to it. So, is this looking good:



It's ready tomorrow.


And the back of the gun will not be like that in game, it's just because crappy lightning of 3d model program.

Edit:

Never mind, i made all animations ready. I'm still not sure about one thing.. i can still change this to normal rifle or rail gun.. What you think about it?? Or do you want rocket launcher?

Butterfingers knows this What he is saying is that you have UV mapping issues, and until you get them sorted, the texture is going to look poor no matter what size.

The new UV looks better, but you could still condense that map down to 512*512 without any distortion or loss of detail. It's not really a detailed model, and having such a large texture map for it is a bit of a waste.

If it is a rocket launcher, the supporting hand shouldn't be underneath the barrel so close. Take a look at this picture below, because at the moment your character is holding it like a rifle:

What's the rush? You'll get a better sense of achievement if you get the rocket launcher working the way you want Either way, keep us updated.

I'm now making my next weapon, hammer. I'm going to make it model pack with other modernday weapons too...
