Or has there been a free give away of FPSC without a manual????

There are soo many posts on here and in product chat from users who simply seem to refuse to do any work themselves??

I am sick of seeing...

"Can you do this for me?"
"I'm lazy, can someone please..."
"I'm new, please make me a script..."

I try to answer what I can but when laziness prevails, I give up and just post the link to the community guide, and I have done this for the same users over, and over and over again but to no avail!

How can we help users help themselves aswell??

It's becoming to hard to ingore the lazy people as their posts are quickly filling up the forums..

Maybe the mods could create a Noob section?? That way the newbies could go there and ask the questions rather than jamming up the main threads with basic questions that are answered in both the FPSC manual and the commmunity guide! Maybe the search function needs to made clearer as well??

Don't get me wrong, we were all new once, me only a few months, but I have worked hard to learn and take a genuine interest in making a game myself, not having others do it for me!

Bit of a rant, please feel free to be bored senseless but it would be good to know I am not the only one fed up with the laziness and thread hogging..

Far too new to be helping...

yup, i tottaly agree with you, sure we were all once noobs but that doesn't meen that they can fill the threads up with stupid posts that are going to be locked the next day.

i agree with you completely, the mods should make a noob section just for them to post those annoying threads.

Why don't we flesh out that idea a bit?

-How long would a person be restricted to this new board or would it be voluntary?
-Would experienced users who are sick of the stupid questions go there to answer them, or would they only be answered by other new users who don't know the answers?
-When these lazy users are allowed to post to the normal boards, will they no longer be lazy?
-What about a board for only advanced users, so they won't be bothered by the average users questions?

I understand what you're saying. I remember jumping the gun a few times and asking things without looking them up. It's easy to get excited and get ahead of yourself in the beginning.

Everyone here goes through that frustration period, but it's the nature of the game. Everyone is different and we all had to learn, not only to use the program but the forum as well.

Best.

i suppose so xplosys.

maby their could be a video or something that forces new members to watch it before they post on the forum, because most noobs don't read the rules.

There will be no picking on, ganging up on, or group plan to isolate any individual or other group of forum members new or not.

Tolerance of others is required.

From time to time Moderators will clean the boards or take other measures as required to manage the forums in an orderly fashion or otherwise take appropriate steps to impliment new procedures if the are deemed necessary within the best interests of TGC and the members a whole.
