anyone know where i can get a good model viewer? to veiw .x files, and is it possible for me to take a picture on it, take a picture of the x file? ok,

I'll give you two options which I know of.
You can download Caligari TrueSpace3 for free at http://www.download.com

OR you can go to the gallery on the DB website and download one of the viewer programs.

Either one of these should allow you to view x models after you load them.

As far as taking a snapshot of the .x file, that can be done with TrueSpace3.
