Here is a new question from the DB user-to-be.

The code in the last topic regarding Inkey$() functionality has been changed by replacing the function with entry$() function. It works as expected but before replacing, the text display were in high resolution and after replacing, the display somehow shows in low resolution. Why this happens? I am using DB Pro compiler for both cases.

Any explanation would be appreciated.

Pro will choose the optimum screenmode by default, the one that should provide the best performance, have you tried setting a specific screenmode? like 640x480x32?, once you have set a screenmode then it should stay at that mode, it may be that Pro is haveing trouble working out what screenmode would be optimimum for the code you have, just try setting it to something specific and it should work fine, cheers.
